Each day, the media, corporations, and governments are embracing the concept of political correctness or P.C. and as a result, the world has become "less funny." The effects of P.C. knows no boundaries. Employees must now avoid telling off-color jokes around the office coffee pot, cartoon characters are being forced into major lifestyle changes or erased from existence, and web sites are being labeled "radicals" for offering what the self-appointed P.C. police have categorized as unacceptable humor or topics. All of this to appease a minority of self-interest groups, who if invited to a party, would hog all the food and then bore the guests to death.

Humor and satire are perhaps the biggest victims of the P.C. movement and the main concern of S.P.I.T., but it doesn't stop there. History books are being rewritten to be less "offensive." Just read your local paper and see how news articles are sacrificing important facts and accuracy in favor of P.C. content. Religion is not even safe with bookstores now offering P.C. versions of the Bible.

S.P.I.T. believes that now is the time to band together and fight back! Humor and satire are unalienable rights and the P.C. movement must be stopped. As a self-righteous form of censorship, it threatens us, our children, and the family pets.
